The manga has been serialized in the publisher's Jump Square monthly magazine since its October 2012 issue, and its latest 19th tankobon volume is set to be released in Japan on September 4, 2019. You all have my utmost respect.Publisher Shueisha announced today that the Owari no Seraph/Seraph of the End dark fantasy manga series created by Takaya Kagami (story), Yamato Yamamoto (arts) and Daisuke Furuya (storyboards) has printed ten million copies.
Hopefully the Manga sales will continue to improve or someone will just appear out of the blue and invest in the anime production or whatever that will result in a third season. I just hope that a miracle happens that will spur awesome studios like Mappa or Ufotable to take over the project and produce more seasons. I know the manga is ongoing but I'd much rather watch the anime. I am really desperate for a third season. However, unfortunately the anime ends there. It even got better for me towards the end of season 2, when it is evidently clear that there's more than meets the eye with regards to the storyline.
That's a lot for me considering I usually only watch a few anime episodes per day. I enjoyed it so much that I binge watched both seasons within 2 days. I rarely watch Shonen/Action Anime, but Owari No Seraph is a different case.
